Shipyard Distinctives — Select Passages
Come. Grow. Share. Go.

This week's passages: Select Passages
We took a step back this Sunday and named four patterns that make this gathering distinct. Not better. Just different. And all drawn from Scripture.
Come. Be present. Jesus always called people to be with him first, before sending them out. Presence comes before purpose. Faith grows in proximity, not performance.
Grow. Be rooted. Growth in Scripture isn’t about speed. It’s about maturity. Staying planted long enough for something real to form. Roots grow underground, quietly, slowly.
Share. Be fruitful. The New Testament is full of “one another” commands that assume shared life. Love, patience, forgiveness, repair. And at the center of it all is a table. Bread broken. Hospitality practiced.
Go. Be multiplying. Jesus sends ordinary people into ordinary places, empowered by the Spirit. Disciples make disciples. Simple, repeatable, human-sized.
These aren’t programs or phases. They’re a way of life we keep returning to.
Something to sit with this week:
Which of these four patterns do you most need to lean into right now?
